On October 24th, Orquestra Theatro São Pedro promotes an evening entirely dedicated to the repertoire of Felix Mendelssohn, an eclectic German composer and pianist, considered one of the most important representatives of the first phase of the romantic period. The performance will be conducted by the distinguished guest conductor Cláudio Cohen, and as soloists the violinist Emerson Kretschmer and the pianist André Carrara. The program includes the Concerto for Violin and Orchestra in E Minor, Opus 64, one of Mendelssohn’s most important orchestral works and one of the most famous in the history of concert music.
