n the month in which the Bicentenary of German Immigration is celebrated in Rio Grande do Sul, the Orquestra Theatro São Pedro presents a special concert in honor of the symbolic historical moment. The show alluding to the two hundredth anniversary of the arrival of German-speaking peoples on Gaucho soil will be conducted and artistically directed by maestro Evandro Matté and with the participation of German cellist Clemens Weigel, member of the renowned Rodin Quartet and professor at the Munich Conservatory. The program highlights works by Johann Sebastian Bach, a German-born musician who became one of the most famous composers of all time, as well as pieces from the classical repertoire of Russian Tchaikovsky.
