In August, the Orquestra Theatro São Pedro promotes a night permeated by tango and flamenco, with accordionist Iñaki Alberdi, from the Basque Country, as a guest soloist. Under the regency and artistic direction of maestro Evandro Matté, the instrumentalist will perform Las Cuatro Estaciones Porteñas, a set of four compositions written by Astor Piazzolla, which combine the classical training of the Argentine musician with his love for tango to show his way of listening to summer, the autumn, spring and winter. The program also includes the performance of the piece Asturias, by Spanish composer Isaac Albéniz, which explores the flamenco rhythm of the Andalusia region.
